SingPost acquires UK freight forwarding firm F.S. Mackenzie

It's the company's second e-commerce investment.

The Postman has made its second acquisition in its e-commerce segment. SingPost today revealed that it has completed the acquisition of F.S. Mackenzie, a freight forwarder based in the United Kingdom.

The acquisition was made via Famous Holdings Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of SingPost. The acquisition involved 83,524 issued and paid-up ordinary shares in total.

The acquisition was completed on August 14, after being first announced on July 18.

“The Board is pleased to announce that the conditions precedent under the Agreement have been fulfilled and accordingly, completion of the Acquisition took place today. Following the Completion, the Purchaser holds the entire issued and paid-up share capital of FSML and FSML has become a subsidiary of the Company,” stated SingPost.
