Grab to revamp rewards programme in March

Users of Grab’s Mastercard can earn points at over 53 million merchants worldwide.

Grab will update its rewards programme, by reducing the points that riders earn per transaction and increasing the number of merchants with which points can be earned. The updates will start running from 2 March 2020, it said on its website.

With the new rewards programme, every $1 spent on a ride using either the app’s cashless payment option or Grab’s Mastercard will be equivalent to two reward points for basic and silver members, and three to four points for gold and platinum members.

Users of Grab’s Mastercard will have access to earning points at over 53 million places globally and online.

Grab will also expand its list of reward items and lessen the required points for redemption of rewards.
