EMS Energy bags $2.8m sewerage treatment contract in Vietnam

Total order wins for 2016 now stand at $4.5m.

EMS Energy’s subsidiary, Koastal Eco Industries (KEI), has been awarded a contract worth approx. S$2.8m by Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park Bac Ninh for the construction of phase 2 of a sewerage treatment plant.

Under the terms of the VSIP project, KEI will undertake the infrastructure construction of the sewage treatment plant, including the supply, installation, construction and completion of components such as the equalization tank, coagulation and flocculation tanks, biological tank, clarifiers, mechanical and electrical (M&E) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, auxiliary works and other related upgrading and construction works. 

The VSIP project is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2017.
