PUB to roll out five smart water technologies at Singapore International Water Week
The event will also feature a career fair.
The Public Utilities Board (PUB) will showcase five cutting-edge water technologies at the upcoming Singapore International Water Week.
The PUB will demonstrate the use of image analytics for clean and free-flowing waterways; the development of a new smart water assessment network; the island-wide sensor deployment in the water supply network; the use of an automated meter reading system; and the inspection of the deep tunnel sewerage system using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
In addition, this year’s SIWW will include the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System (DTSS) Phase 2 and Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) Pavilion and Forum, featuring the co-location of Tuas Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) and IWMF. This is the first of its kind in the world planned from the ground-up.
The event will also feature a career fair and the inaugural smart water forum.
