This will bolster the firm’s order book to $185.9m.
Environmental engineering firm Sanli Environmental (Sanli) bagged new engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts from the Public Utilities Board (PUB) worth $51.5m, an announcement revealed.
The new contracts pumped up the firm’s order book to $185.9m, the firm stated.
The orders comprise of an EPC contract valued at approximately $51m, for construction works for the replacement of mechanical and electrical equipment at Kranji water reclamation plant, and an additional $500,000 for maintenance works at the same plant.
The EPC contract is expected to contribute to Sanli’s revenue for the next two years from the financial year ending 31 March 2020, whilst the O&M contract will contribute once the EPC contract is complete.
“We are very excited to have secured a contract of this size from the public sector,” Sanli’s CEO Sim Hock Heng said in a statement. “The Group will continue to leverage on our established track record and work towards securing more contracts to grow the business further.”
