ST Engineering H1 net profit surges 27% on segment gains

It also secured $7.6b in new contracts during the period.

ST Engineering's net profit rose 27% year on year (YoY) to $512m in the first half of 2026, as earnings growth outpaced an 11% rise in revenue to $6.57b.

All three business segments grew, with Commercial Aerospace revenue rising 15% YoY to $2.69, driven by Engine MRO, Nacelles and spares sales.

Meanwhile, Defence & Public Security revenue rose 7% YoY to $2.82b whilst Urban Solutions & Satcom earnings rose 15% YoY to $1.06b.

The group secured $7.6b in new contracts during the period, including a $1.7b New Jersey Turnpike Authority E-ZPass Services deal, pushing its order book to a record $35.7b as at end June, of which $5.7b is expected to be delivered by year-end.

The board approved an interim dividend of $0.05 per share for the second quarter, payable 4 September, with a further $0.05 per share planned for the third quarter.
