EMS Energy appoints Koh Choon Kong as Chief Financial Officer
Mr Koh kicked off his more than 15 years of financial and business experience in Price Waterhouse Singapore.
The Board of EMS Energy has recommended the appointment of Mr Koh Choon Kong as the Chief Financial Officer, Monday, based on his qualification and experience.
Mr Koh is responsible for overall financial management, internal controls, fundraising, investor relations, corporate secretarial and legal, human resource and administrative functions of the Group.
Mr Koh Choon Kong is currently the Group CFO of Fuxing China Group Limited, a China-based manufacturer listed on the Mainboard of Singapore Exchange since 2007. Prior to this, he was the Group CFO of China Sunsine Chemical Holdings Ltd from 2006 till 2009, a company which listed on SGX-mainboard in 2007, where he currently serves as a member of its Board as well as a member of its Audit Committee.
Mr Koh has more than 15 years of financial and business experience, having started his career in Price Waterhouse Singapore in the audit and advisory services in 1995, and subsequently worked in the asset management division of Citicorp Investment Bank (Singapore) Limited, ICH Limited/ICH Capital, as well as founding KRN Warren Advisors which provided corporate financial consulting and financial training services including a business school, prior to being recruited to China Sunsine Chemical.
A graduate of Nanyang Business School, NTU where Mr Koh obtained his Bachelor of Accountancy, he has completed his MBA degree from the University of Manchester in 2006. He is a qualified accountant, CPA Singapore, a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore, and he also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification from the CFA Institute (US), the global association for investment professionals.
