MIT confirms divestment strategy, stays mum on US data centre talk
But there’s no certainty about any transaction yet.
Mapletree Industrial Trust (MIT) has confirmed that selective divestments in North America remain part of its portfolio strategy but has stopped short of confirming any transaction.
This is in response to media reports of a potential divestment of data centre assets in the United States, it said in a statement.
Mapletree Industrial Trust Management (MITM), as manager of MIT, regularly reviews its portfolio and is continuing to evaluate opportunities.
MITM stressed there is no certainty any transaction will result from these evaluations.
It said it will make appropriate announcements via SGXNET if material developments arise, in line with its obligations under the SGX Listing Manual.
