Budget 2018 to help firms transform: MND Minister Lawrence Wong

He said the government wants to facilitate corporate-level innovation.

Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong said the 2018 Budget will help businesses to transform and grow.

In a Facebook post about 40-year-old business Esco Global, Wong said Budget 2018 will continue with efforts to build deep capabilities in Singapore's firms and people, and forge stronger partnerships at all levels.

"We want to facilitate more of such corporate-level innovation and transformation," Wong said.

Wong concluded that these are needed to grow a strong, resilient economy and create more jobs for Singaporeans.
