Van Der Horst Energy appoints Chen Yonghua as Executive Chairman and Executive Director

Mr Chen will represent the Company in its further expansion in Greater China.

The Board of Van Der Horst Energy announced the appointment of Chen Yonghua as Executive Chairman and Executive Director The Board had considered the Nominating Committee’s recommendation and assessment of Mr Chen's qualifications and experience and is satisfied that Mr Chen's appointment as Executive Chairman and Executive Director will be beneficial to the Board and to the Company. Mr Chen is a suitable candidate to represent the Company as the Group is looking into further expansion in Greater China, according to a Van Der Horst Energy report.

Mr. Chen is currently Chairman of Shen Zhen Hua Yue Industrial Co., Ltd from 2004 and Director of Tian Hua Huei (Singapore) Pte Ltd from 2002. Prior to this he was CEO of Shen Zhen Jia Chen Investment Co., Ltd from 1997 to 2004.
