Operationalising Sustainability Reporting: How to start. Where to go.
OVERVIEW Operationalising Sustainability Reporting: How to start. Where to go.
Sustainability reporting is the most important movement that organisations are facing around the world today. However, one of the biggest problems faced by organisations is trying to decide how to begin their ESG reporting journey. This problem stems from the multitude of methodologies, regulations, and approaches being deployed. What makes it more challenging is that most data does not reside in one or two systems, but are found in many disparate locations. This creates the additional challenge on where to prioritise the investment, in technology or in methodology, hindering the start of deploying ESG.
Most organisations have difficulty identifying where to start: methodology, approach, metrics, collecting the relevant data, reporting of data, deciding the format of the report, etc. With the demand for transparency on sustainable and socially responsible practices becoming ever more important, organisations have to start now. A non-conformance or a delay in adopting ESG may have a significant adverse impact on their survival. As part of the journey, valuable insights can be derived, which will enable the management to create long-term value for all the stakeholders, positively affecting the financial metrics of the company.
Join us in this virtual roundtable as we have an open discussion on how organisations can begin to operationalise sustainability reporting.
In this virtual roundtable, we will:
