Experienced in developing and implementing digital transformation strategies. Enjoys paragliding, hiking, cycling and listening to Bob Dylan’s songs.
Sumit is Partner, Consulting and Singapore Markets Transformation Lead at Ernst & Young Advisory Pte. Ltd. He helps shape technology-enabled strategic, multitower transformation deals in Southeast Asia.
Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan as well as Head of Strategic Large Deals for the Asia-Pacific region at a multinational consulting and technology services company.
Sumit has extensive experience in helping sectors undergoing substantive changes shape and execute digital transformation strategies. This includes the transformation of telcos into digital ecosystem enablers, initiatives in response to deregulation of the utilities sector and helping traditional retailers increase their market share from e-commerce. It also includes airline business model transformation through disintermediation, digital channels, ecosystems and partnerships.
Sumit holds a Bachelor of Pharma (Hons) from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India and a postgraduate diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.


Irving Low
Partner, Head of Priority Client Coverage

Irving is a partner in KPMG in Singapore and has been with KPMG for over 30 years, having worked in both the London and Singapore offices. He has been a partner with the firm for over 20 years.
As the Head of Priority Client Coverage, he is responsible for the key clients for the Singapore practice across, Audit, Tax and Advisory as well as the non-audit Advisory clients in Indonesia. Irving takes on this new role, after heading the Advisory business in both Singapore and Indonesia. He was also the previous Head of People Performance and Culture as well as the Head of Clients and Markets. His vast experience, both strategically and operationally cutting across many sectors and industries position him well to serve KPMG’s key clients.
Irving’s key area of practice is in corporate governance, where he is also the KPMG APAC Leader for Board Advisory Services. He has undertaken numerous corporate governance reviews for both public and private organisations in light of the renewed focus in this area. He is a frequent invited guest and speaker at board meetings and presentations as well as public forums on corporate governance.
Irving also sits on the Board of the Singapore Tyler Institute (STPI), Singapore Repertory Theatre and the Advisory Board of the School of Accountancy of Singapore Management University.
In addition, Irving is a member of CPA Australia Sub-committee for the Public Sector.

Roger Loo is the Executive Director of the Management Consultancy Division of BDO Consultants Pte Ltd. Roger joined BDO in 2008 and spearhead the growth of the management consultancy arm of BDO for the past decade. He has lived and worked in various countries – Australia, UAE, China etc. With clear understandings of cultural diversity and in markets conditions, Roger has been valued by clients and companies alike in their quests for internationalisation and future growth.
With more than 20 years of experience in business intelligence and management consulting, Roger has a proven track record in areas that include market intelligence and brand research, feasibility studies, strategy consulting, internationalisation, family businesses and performance management. His global expertise in management consulting includes countries such as China, Taiwan, Myanmar, India, Australia, USA, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Middle East and North Africa region.
Prior to joining BDO, Roger served as the Head of Greater China for The Asian Banker – specialising in banking and financial business intelligence and research for banking communities in the Middle East, Asia and Oceania. During his stint, Roger spearheaded offices in Shanghai and Beijing, while managing regional contacts in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Roger was also leading custom research projects for Chinese bankers and international IT vendors in the areas of overseas partners development/selection; market and product development for Greater China etc.
In addition, Roger also worked as a Regional Senior Consultant for global military and security consulting arm – Jane’s Information Group. He was involved in numerous strategic advisory and consultancy projects for military hardware vendors, government bodies and research institutes in the region.

Henry Tan, Group CEO & Chief Innovation Officer of CLA Global TS has been serving as advisor to clients in Singapore and the region. As Group CEO, he manages the firm and grows its footprint to a major player in the market.

Nomination is open to outstanding foreign companies in Singapore with excellent projects, initiatives, products, and services.

Companies may submit up to three (3) different entries in the nominations.

There will be one winning company per industry.
-
Nomination is free of charge. If your company wins, you are obliged to proceed booking the winner's package to maximize the benefits of your win.
ELIGIBILITY
The awards programme is open to foreign companies in Singapore. The company must have its global headquarters located outside Singapore.
*Companies in the following industries are not eligible to join the awards programme: cryptocurrency, tobacco, multilevel marketing, and products with claim of health benefits.
Eligible companies may nominate any initiatives that highlight their excellent work such as:
✔ outstanding projects or services launched for or with client/s
✔ innovative internal practices or strategies
The initiative must have been launched or had upgrades, in part or in full, within the last 24 calendar months.

The entries will be reviewed by the judges based on the following:

Uniqueness & Innovation - Did the project introduce new or cutting-edge innovation?

Effectiveness & Impact - Did the project achieve its objectives and targets? What measures have been used to assess its success? What was the impact on your company and industry? If the project is a solution provided for a client, what is the overall feedback of your client?

Dynamism - Is the project flexible to changes and progressive opportunities?

Fill in the required details about the company and contact person for the nomination.

Provide your project name, 500-word write-up, client feedback (if any), key achievements, and project photos.

Wait for the nomination confirmation email and acknowledge it once received.

Greg is PwC Singapore’s Digital Business and Risk Services Leader and has previously served as PwC’s technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sector leader for the Asia Pacific
region. He oversees a team of 25 partners and 600 professional staff who help our clients strengthen regulatory and risk resilience, respond confidently to digital disruption and work towards a sustainable future.
Greg also serves on our firm’s Leadership Team and has significant experience advising clients around digital business initiatives and managing risks. He has been instrumental in driving the firm’s digital transformation and upskilling strategy.
In addition, Greg serves as the Global Risk Alliances Leader, collaborating with Global Risk Leadership and stakeholders to develop and implement strategic alliance plans aimed at fostering global business growth. He leads the identification of key strategic alliances partners for the Global Risk Business, bridging regional networks to advance global strategic alliances initiatives and ensure a positive impact.

Experienced in developing and implementing digital transformation strategies. Enjoys paragliding, hiking, cycling and listening to Bob Dylan’s songs.
Sumit is Partner, Consulting and Singapore Markets Transformation Lead at Ernst & Young Advisory Pte. Ltd. He helps shape technology-enabled strategic, multitower transformation deals in Southeast Asia.
Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan as well as Head of Strategic Large Deals for the Asia-Pacific region at a multinational consulting and technology services company.
Sumit has extensive experience in helping sectors undergoing substantive changes shape and execute digital transformation strategies. This includes the transformation of telcos into digital ecosystem enablers, initiatives in response to deregulation of the utilities sector and helping traditional retailers increase their market share from e-commerce. It also includes airline business model transformation through disintermediation, digital channels, ecosystems and partnerships.
Sumit holds a Bachelor of Pharma (Hons) from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India and a postgraduate diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.


Irving Low

Irving is a partner in KPMG in Singapore and has been with KPMG for over 30 years, having worked in both the London and Singapore offices. He has been a partner with the firm for over 20 years.
As the Head of Priority Client Coverage, he is responsible for the key clients for the Singapore practice across, Audit, Tax and Advisory as well as the non-audit Advisory clients in Indonesia. Irving takes on this new role, after heading the Advisory business in both Singapore and Indonesia. He was also the previous Head of People Performance and Culture as well as the Head of Clients and Markets. His vast experience, both strategically and operationally cutting across many sectors and industries position him well to serve KPMG’s key clients.
Irving’s key area of practice is in corporate governance, where he is also the KPMG APAC Leader for Board Advisory Services. He has undertaken numerous corporate governance reviews for both public and private organisations in light of the renewed focus in this area. He is a frequent invited guest and speaker at board meetings and presentations as well as public forums on corporate governance.
Irving also sits on the Board of the Singapore Tyler Institute (STPI), Singapore Repertory Theatre and the Advisory Board of the School of Accountancy of Singapore Management University.
In addition, Irving is a member of CPA Australia Sub-committee for the Public Sector.

Roger joined BDO in 2008 and spearhead the growth of the management consultancy arm of BDO for the past decade. He has lived and worked in various countries – Australia, UAE, China etc. With clear understandings of cultural diversity and in markets conditions, Roger has been valued by clients and companies alike in their quests for internationalisation and future growth.
With more than 20 years of experience in business intelligence and management consulting, Roger has a proven track record in areas that include market intelligence and brand research, feasibility studies, strategy consulting, internationalisation, family businesses and performance management. His global expertise in management consulting includes countries such as China, Taiwan, Myanmar, India, Australia, USA, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Middle East and North Africa region.
Prior to joining BDO, Roger served as the Head of Greater China for The Asian Banker – specialising in banking and financial business intelligence and research for banking communities in the Middle East, Asia and Oceania. During his stint, Roger spearheaded offices in Shanghai and Beijing, while managing regional contacts in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Roger was also leading custom research projects for Chinese bankers and international IT vendors in the areas of overseas partners development/selection; market and product development for Greater China etc.
In addition, Roger also worked as a Regional Senior Consultant for global military and security consulting arm – Jane’s Information Group. He was involved in numerous strategic advisory and consultancy projects for military hardware vendors, government bodies and research institutes in the region.

You may nominate any initiatives that highlight your company's excellent work such as:
✔ outstanding projects or services launched for or with client/s
✔ innovative internal practices or strategies
Note that the project must be launched, in part or full, within the last 24 calendar months. If the project was launched prior to 2 years, it should have undergone a recent innovation to be eligible for the awards.
How do I nominate?
- Go to the online nomination form and read the nomination guidelines.
- Fill in the required details about your company and contact person for the nomination.
- Select your industry category.
- Provide your project title, 500-word write-up, client feedback (if any), key achievements, and photos of the project that you are nominating.
- Wait for the nomination confirmation email and acknowledge it once received.
Note:
Photos are required while supporting documents are optional but will highly increase the chances of winning.
Can I send more than one entry for our company?
Yes, you may submit up to 3 entries. Each entry must be a different project. One online form is equivalent to one entry so if you are nominating multiple entries, please submit them separately.
How many winners per category?
There will be one winning company per industry category.
Is there a cost to nominate?

Will there be an awards dinner this year?
Yes, a physical awarding ceremony will be held on May 25, 2023. Winners will gather at the prestigious awards dinner to celebrate their well-deserved award and network with clients, industry peers, colleagues, and co-winners across the industry.
When is the deadline to submit an entry?
The deadline for submission of entries is on 3 March 2023, Friday.
