Equity offerings from listed companies down 6.4% YTD

Over $4.6b was earned from equity offerings so far.

Listed equity offerings, YTD dipped 6.4% YoY to $4.6b (US$3.4b).

According to Thomson Reuters, initial public offerings (IPO) listings reached $2.8b (US$2.1b), up by 21.5% YoY.

NetLink NBN Trust’s $2.3b IPO is the biggest among Mainboard-listed companies so far this year, whilst coffee shop operator Kimly Ltd’s $43.5m IPO is currently the largest in the Catalist board.

Two Chinese firms tapped Singapore’s stock exchanges this year, raising a total of $131.8m (US$97.7m) in proceeds.

Meanwhile, Cromwell European REIT (CEREIT) trimmed down its IPO from $1.4b (US$1.1b) to $1.1b (US$850.1m).

CEREIT’s IPO is expected to price later this September, Thomson Reuters said.
