MoneyMax profit surges 77% to $52.5m in H1

The board declared an interim dividend of $0.0025 per share.

MoneyMax Financial Services Ltd. reported a 77.3% year-on-year (YoY) increase in profit attributable to owners of the parent to $52.5m for the six months ended 30 June 2026 (H1 2026).

Revenue rose 34.1% to $325.7m, with growth across its main business segments.

Revenue from pawnbroking increased 60.1% to $69.2m, driven by higher interest income from a larger pawnbroking portfolio.

Revenue from the retail and trading of gold and luxury items rose 30.6% to $245m, mainly on higher sales volumes.

The board declared an interim dividend of $0.0025 per share.

MoneyMax opened 26 stores in Singapore and Malaysia in the same period, taking its regional network to 139 stores.

It plans to open another 10 stores by the end of the year, subject to regulatory approvals and operational readiness.

The company also raised $44.3m in gross proceeds from the placement of 53 million new shares as part of its transfer to the SGX Mainboard.
