ShopeePay Singapore unlocks China QR payments with TenPay Global

It covers tens of millions of merchants.

Singapore’s ShopeePay users can now scan and pay with their apps in China that offer Weixin Pay QR code payments.

ShopeePay users from Singapore and Thailand can pay using their ShopeePay and Shopee apps across tens of millions of Weixin Pay QR code merchants, according to an announcement by ShopeePay and TenPay Global, Tencent’s cross-border payment platform.

The service will expand to Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines in subsequent phases, according to an announcement on 20 August 2026.

TenPay Global partners include PayPal, HanaPay, Travel Wallet, BCEL, and HiPay.

ShopeePay is part of Monee, the digital financial services arm of Sea Limited.
