Singapore Business Review presents 8 of the city’s finest hotel chefs and their stories of how passion and motivation can steer aspiring chefs to the right direction. Most of them are expats and have been in Singapore for a long time, making the city their home and embracing the diverse culture within.

With an industry dominated by foreign chefs, it is noteworthy to meet Singapore’s very own Melvin lim who has started from the bottom as a Kitchen Helper before rising the rank to his position today as the Executive Chef of a four-star restaurant in the city.
