
Talent shortage emerges as top concern for employers in 2025: report
Employers also cite salary matching and market competition as main concerns.
In Singapore, 66% of employers are concerned about the shortage of talent with the required skills in 2025, Randstad Singapore reported.
According to Randstad, employers are also concerned about the intense market competition, with 38% citing the need to bid for talent.
The inability to match salary expectations comes next at 36%, followed by the inability to attract enough applicants (21%), and insufficient internal talent acquisition capabilities (19%).
In addition, 17% of employers are also having a hard time assessing employees’ soft skills and potential.
