This handy app lets you book nearly any service under the sun

Find technicians, babysitters and more with Page Advisor.

Whether you need a reliable air con technician, a massage therapist, an alternative medicine practitioner, a dog trainer or even a trusty babysitter, Page Advisor has it all for you.

This app prides itself as Southeast Asia’s first real-time mobile commerce marketplace platform for home and lifestyle services. It allows users to book the services of a wide range of service providers and cuts through the hassle of manually searching for people just to get a small job done.

“Our goal was to make it much easier and quicker for people to obtain local services. When a person wants to hire a service provider, he or she does know not where to look, who is reliable, and whether to trust the service provider. It also takes a long time to confirm an order, as one has to look for the right merchant, and at the right price. Some don’t even turn up after confirming an order,” said Fabian Lim, Page Advisor’s Founder and Group CEO.

Through Page Advisor, users simply have to choose the required service, answer a few short questions and fill in the job’s schedule. Details of the job request will then be sent through the app to the appropriate merchants, and users can expect to receive multiple quotes within minutes of submitting their job request.

Users will also be able to review merchant ratings and reviews before accepting a quote and appointing a service provider.

Apart from helping users book services quickly, Page Advisor also frees service providers from manually taking calls and fielding random consumer requests for quotes.

Service providers can also better respond to projects because Requests that come via the Page Advisor app or SMS already contain all the necessary details to draw up a quote.

The merchant can then immediately submit a quote within minutes, and confirm the appointment immediately upon acceptance by the consumer.

“Payment is made in-app by credit card upon confirmation of a job, doing away with the need for cash or cheque payments to be made when the job is completed. Service providers are not charged any directory or listing fees to sign up with Page Advisor, and pay a very modest platform fee only if they complete a job through Page Advisor,” Lim noted.

Page Advisor was founded by serial online entrepreneur, author and aviator Fabian Lim, digital marketing agency Ho Boon Peng, internet millionaire Tan Jian Yong, dating company founder Jamie Lee, and finance lawyer Daniel Tan. Ang Mo Kio GRC MP Inderjit Singh is also the app’s advisor.

Lim shared that Page Advisor will launch in Malaysia in the next few weeks. The company also plans to introduce the service to other countries in the region in the near to medium term.
