CSE Global books $199.1m in new orders in Q2

Its communications segment was the largest contributor.

CSE Global secured $199.1m in new orders in the second quarter ended 30 June 2026, closing the period with an order book of $620.4m, according to its latest news release.

The Communications segment was the largest contributor, accounting for around 39.6% of total order intake, with orders rising 8.9% year-on-year (YoY) to $78.9m. The growth was driven primarily by stronger order flows in the Australia and New Zealand markets.

The Electrification segment secured $63.9m in new orders, or around 32.2% of the total, down 29.0% YoY. The decline was mainly due to a timing difference arising from the replacement of a purchase order, with the new order expected to be received in the following quarter.

The Automation segment secured about $56.2m in new orders, representing 28.2% of the quarter's total intake.

Group managing director and chief executive Lim Boon Kheng said order intake saw some YoY seasonality in the timing of contract awards following a strong start to the year.

"Despite the uncertain operating environment, we believe our proven capabilities and long-standing customer relationships position us well to continue securing new orders," Lim said, adding that demand across key markets remained healthy, supported by a robust tender pipeline.

The Group said the new orders were not expected to have any material impact on its consolidated net tangible assets per share or earnings per share for the current financial year.

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes.
