Visa partners SP Group to enable digital bills payment

Cardholders can store credit card details in SP Group’s app to pay bills.

Visa partnered with SP Group to roll out a digital mode of payment for utility bills, according to a news release.

Through this partnership, cardholders can store their credit card details on file to pay through the SP Utilities App.

Other existing modes of payment were through selected bank cards, physical SP Group branches, or third-party kiosk machines.

Almost 80% of Singaporeans preferred to use digital payments over cash or cheques, and 68% favoured card-on-file payments, according to a survey by Visa.
