Late-stage deals ease to 70.9% of July tech funding
Early-stage share climbs to 28.5% year-on-year as seed-funding triples.
Late-stage funding captured 70.9% of Singapore's overall tech funding in July 2026, down 19.1 percentage points (pps) from the previous month and 6.5 pps from the same period last year, according to Tracxn.
Early-stage funding represented 28.5% of deals in the month, whilst seed-stage funding accounted for just 0.7%.
This compares with 9.5% and 0.5%, respectively, in June, and 22.4% and 0.2% in July 2025.
Amongst venture capital funds, Singtel Innov8, Lollapalooza Capital, and Breakthrough Energy secured one deal each.
Amongst private equity funds, CPE and Charisma Partners each recorded one deal, whilst Breakthrough Energy was the only incubator to secure a deal in July.
Tech equity funding reached about $4.77b in July 2026, rising 27.35% from June's $3.74b and surging 184% from $1.68b in the same month last year.
