Tech equity funding rises 21% QoQ to $4.8b in Q3

Kling AI grabs over half of the quarterly total with $2.8b.

Tech companies raised $4.8b in equity funding in the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, up 21.09% from $4b recorded in the previous quarter, according to a Tracxn report.

On a year-on-year basis, the quarter saw a 115.64% surge from $2.2b in Q3 2025.

The report's Q3 window runs from 1 July to 26 August.

Kling AI led the quarter's funding rounds with a $2.8b raise, accounting for more than half of the quarterly total.

It was followed by Ant International at $1.2b, CRYPTO at $400m, Acrab AI at $130m, and dConstruct Robotics at $125m.

No unicorns emerged during the quarter.
