KGI Capital joins SGX as first Taiwanese derivatives clearing member
Also the 7th Taiwanese trading member.

SGX’s derivatives market has achieved record open interest in recent months. Open interest reached a new record high of 3.14million contracts on 26 February.
“We are pleased to be accepted as a trading and clearing member of Singapore Exchange. By joining SGX, we strengthen our ongoing efforts to expand our business into the Asia-Pacific market and enhance our commitment to the region,” said Mr Samuel Ho, Executive Director, KGI Futures.
The admission of KGI Capital brings the number of Clearing Members for SGX’s derivatives market to 27 and the number of Trading Members to 43. In addition, there are 11 Clearing Members for the clearing of OTC-traded financial derivatives on SGX AsiaClear. The securities market also has 27 Trading Members and 27 Clearing Members.
