Capgemini launches Applied Innovation Exchange in Shenzhen
This is said to increase ease of market access for Singapore businesses.
Capgemini launched its newest Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE) located in Shenzhen, China, according to an announcement. This will be Capgemini’s first AIE in China and its 18th globally.
The establishment of AIE Shenzhen is said to provide Singaporean businesses with greater access to knowledge-sharing and collaboration with China to support their growth ambitions and competitiveness.
The new innovation hub is said to help its clients take advantage of advances in emerging technologies and test out innovations to scale them up rapidly.
Capgemini group’s CIO Lanni Cohen notes that the AIE in Shenzhen can serve as a destination centre for clients to experience applied innovation and outmaneuver disruption. Shenzhen, located in China’s Greater Bay Area, is also known as the Silicon Valley of Hardware and is a leading global technology hub.
Capgemini’s Shenzhen AIE will join forces with Shenzhen Valley Ventures (SVV), a hardware and device specialist, to navigate the new waves of disruption by providing combined software and hardware services. This is said to fit well with the group’s ambition in the area of the intelligent industry.
