Temasek Financial prices $750m guaranteed notes due 2036
The bond was priced at par with a yield to maturity of 2.65% per annum.
Temasek Financial (I) Limited (TFin-I) has priced $750m of 10-year guaranteed notes due in 2036 (T2036-S$ Temasek Bond).
The notes were priced at par with a yield to maturity of 2.65% per annum, with interest paid every six months, the company said in a bourse filing.
The T2036-S$ Temasek Bond will be issued under TFin-I’s $38.5b (US$30b) Guaranteed Global Medium Term Note Programme. Temasek Holdings unconditionally and irrevocably guarantees the notes.
The offering is scheduled to close on 11 August, with the notes expected to be listed on the Singapore Exchange on 12 August.
TFin-I plans to provide the net proceeds to Temasek and its investment holding companies to fund their ordinary course of business.
The notes were rated “Aaa” by Moody’s Investors Service and “AAA” by S&P Global Ratings, matching Temasek’s overall corporate credit ratings.
They were offered outside the US only to non-US persons under Regulation S of the US Securities Act.
DBS, OCBC, Standard Chartered Bank, and United Overseas Bank acted as joint lead managers and bookrunners.
