Resources Prima Group appoints Chow Wai San as independent director

He is currently working as managing director at Aquifer Consulting Pte Ltd.

Mr Chow is a director and shareholder of East Gate Commodities Pte Ltd ("East Gate"), which is involved in the trading of commodities, including without limitation coal. The coal trading business of this company is similar to the business of Resources Prima Group Limited's subsidiary, RPG Trading Pte Ltd. In order to prevent any conflict of interest going forward, he has represented to the Board of Directors (the "Board") that he will resign as a director of East Gate and will dispose of his shareholdings in East Gate by end of December 2017, allowing sufficient time for East Gate to find a replacement for him.
