Social media is the most effective channel to communicate with customers: marketers
More than 9 in 10 marketers claimed to have success with online channels.
Amongst online channels, marketers said social media (38%) has proven to be the most effective channel to communicate with customers.
Other channels where marketers had the most success were online video marketing (36%) and online communities (29%), according to HubSpot and LinkedIn Research’s joint report.
Overall, nearly all (97%) of marketers claimed to have success with online/ digital channels when communicating to customers, while seven in ten (72%) say the same for other/ offline channels.
In these channels, marketers (44%) said it is good to put out educational initiatives like whitepapers, events/ workshops, and content on tips/ tricks/ best practices, adding that doing so will help inspire loyalty and trust amongst a brand’s customers.
To further contrite to the growth of their respective business, markets are prioritising increasing mindshare and brand affinity (41%), delivering strategies and results within budgets (32%), driving better returns on investment (31%) and increasing focus on building awareness (31%).
