BRC Asia appoints new group COO

Former COO Zhang Xingwang has been appointed as CEO for Malaysia.

BRC Asia Limited’s Tan Lau Ming, who was previously the company’s deputy COO, has been appointed as the group COO.

“The Board is pleased to welcome Tan Lau Ming to his new role, recognising his experience and leadership are expected to contribute positively to the Group’s operational performance and growth,” the company said in a regulatory filing.

The company announced this development after Zhang Xingwang stepped down as COO to take on the role of CEO for Malaysia.

Meanwhile, other officials were redesignated, namely Seah Kiin Peng as the group CEO, Xu Jiguo as the group chief procurement officer, Lee Chun Fun as the group chief financial officer, and Ong Lian Teck as the group chief commercial officer.
