Jardine Matheson acquires Australia’s I-MED Radiology Network

Deal marks Jardines’ first major investment since 2025.

Jardine Matheson Holdings (Jardines) has completed the acquisition of I-MED Radiology Network (I-MED), an Australia-based diagnostic imaging and teleradiology provider.

The acquisition marks Jardines’ first major investment since it transitioned to an investment company in 2025.

Jardines said the investment will form a new earnings growth pillar for the group and is aligned with its strategy of being an Asia Pacific-focused control owner of high-quality, scalable businesses.

The deal also supports the 2030 objectives outlined at Jardines’ Investor Day in June.

As part of the transaction, Jardines will work closely with I-MED’s management team to support the company’s continued growth and expansion.

Lincoln Pan, CEO of Jardine Matheson, said the company is partnering with I-MED’s doctors and clinicians, whom he described as key to the radiology practice’s position in Australia. "I-MED is a trusted leader in radiology, with a long history of clinical excellence and a deep network of partners in its medical communities.”

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
