
OCBC appoints Sunny Quek as head of global consumer financial services
He will lead the bank’s banking and wealth business in Singapore.
OCBC Bank has named Sunny Quek as head of global consumer financial services, effective immediately.
Quek reports directly to CEO Helen Wong. He is tasked with leading the consumer banking and wealth management businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and greater China.
Quek, who currently serves as head of consumer financial services Singapore and a member of OCBC’s management committee, is also now a member of the management executive committee.

He first joined OCBC in September 2012 as head of branch and premier banking, Singapore. Prior to joining OCBC, he was the branch banking director at Citibank Singapore.
Since 2019, Quek has also been overseeing the stock broking business of the group under OCBC Securities Pte Ltd and serving as a director on its board.
