Over 100 delegates participated in the recently concluded Singapore Business Review luncheon panelist meeting at Intercontinental Singapore following the success of the 20 hottest startups to watch in 2015 list.
The 2015 list featured up-and-coming companies which started operating from 2012. These startups managed to make their business flourish from initial funding ranging from $112,000 to $11M. Some were created from the founders’ ideas to make living more convenient, while a few were established out of their own experiences.
For the third consecutive year, the meeting featured 4 sessions in which topics about scaling startups, startups business and investment strategies and tech revolution in the payment space were tackled. John Fearon, co-founder of Sugar Ventures, Henry Wong, chairman of Diamond TechVentures, Martin Nygate, founder & CEO of Gentay Communications and Benjamin Gilbey, senior business leader - emerging payments, solutions management, Asia Pacific from MasterCard are only some of the people who graced the event as speakers.
In between discussions, participants were able to have networking breaks to meet and chat with the other guests coming from various industries.
