Secura breaks into Malaysia's security services market
It will give birth to its Malaysian arm through a joint venture.
Secura continues to grab opportunities outside the city-state as it entered a joint venture with Bursa-listed Willowglen, allowing it to penetrate Malaysia's security services market.
The joint venture will set up Secura Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Secura Malaysia), with the two companies sharing half of its issued share capital.
The newly-formed company will be providing cyber security, homeland security, security consultancy, security systems integration and other security products and services in Malaysia.
For Secura Chief Executive Officer Paul Lim Willowglen’s technologies and products complement the group's core businesses and will further enhance our capabilities in cyber security.
"This strategic collaboration will also enable us to expand our presence in the security market in Malaysia, particularly in the cyber security space where we see tremendous growth potential," he said.
Willowglen is a Malaysian-listed company which pioneered the research and development of integrated supervisory control and data acquisition, security & information technology solutions in the country.
