SBF’s Mark Lee replaces Teo on Enterprise Singapore board
The change takes effect on 1 September.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry has appointed Singapore Business Federation Chairman Mark Lee to the board of Enterprise Singapore.
The appointment took effect on 1 September and Lee replaced Pacific International Lines Executive Chairman Teo Siong Seng as a board member.
Lee is the CEO of Sing Lun Holdings, a privately owned group with interests in industries, investments and real estate.
He is also president of Blue Planet South East Asia, leading the strategic direction and growth of its environmental and waste management businesses across the region.
These include hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, resource recovery, waste-to-energy, industrial services, and specialised environmental solutions.
Lee is a Non-Executive Director of Crystal International Group, which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
He was appointed to the Committee for Future Economy in 2016, a 30-member group established by the Prime Minister to ensure Singapore’s continued prosperity and growth.
He is a council member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, where he chairs the Technology Committee.
He also serves on the boards of the Singapore National Heritage Board and Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, and chairs the Asian Civilisations Museum and Peranakan Museum.
Lee joins an Enterprise Singapore board chaired by Lee Chuan Teck.
Other board members include Keppel CEO for infrastructure Cindy Lim, Temasek International Chief Financial Officer and Temasek Singapore President Png Chin Yee, and Economic Development Board Chairman Png Cheong Boon.
