Nigel David Stead steps down as British and Malayan Trustees' independent non-executive director

He has chosen not to offer himself for re-election.

Mr. Stead, 65, was appointed to this position on April 20, 2010. According to a release, there has been a significant increase in overseas travel and time commitment for his own company during the past one to two years which means he is less able to commit the necessary time needed to do his roles. Thus, his decision.

He served as managing director for HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) from 1996 to 2005. He was chief executive officer of DirectorsPlus (Singapore) and ManagementPlus (Singapore) since June 2006. He was chief executive officer for Clifton Associates (Singapore) since October 2005.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree( Honours) in Management Science. He is a fellow of ICAEW.
