Four-room flats lead July HDB rental volumes at 37.5%

Executive flats only captured 6.3% but recorded the fastest MoM and YoY price increases.

Four-room flats accounted for the largest share of HDB rental volume at 37.5% in July, according to 99.co and SRX.

Three-room flats followed at 31.8%, five-room flats at 24.4%, and Executive flats at 6.3%.

Despite accounting for the smallest share of rental volume, Executive flats recorded the largest month-on-month and year-on-year (YoY) rental price gains at 4% and 2.9%, respectively.

Monthly rental prices for four-room flats grew 2.1%, five-room flats by 1.5%, and three-room flats by 0.8%.

YoY rental prices also increased by 2% for five-room flats, 1.2% for three-room flats, and 1.2% for four-room flats.
