Wilmar denies allegations of rice quality violations in Indonesia

The group says it will assist with the investigations to clear its name.

 

Wilmar International Limited has denied allegations of selling adulterated rice in Indonesia.

 

There have been reports that the Indonesian authorities are conducting criminal investigations against some rice producers, including Wilmar Group, for suspected violations of rice quality and measurement standards.

 

It has been disclosed that some employees of Wilmar were called for questioning. 

 

In addition to their denial, Wilmar said it will continue to assist with the investigations to clear its name.
