Li Lian Ng
Li Lian has 23 years of corporate banking experience and has headed Business Banking for HSBC Singapore since 2013, where her focus is to grow the Bank’s SME franchise.
She started her career with HSBC Commercial Banking as a Management Trainee in 1996, and over the next 8 years progressively developed to be a Relationship Manager with experience across corporate recovery, credit risk and both core corporate banking products and global capital finance.
Subsequently, Li Lian spent 6 years with OCBC Bank’s Enterprise Banking, leading a team of relationship managers. The last 2 years were with OCBC Vietnam, where her areas of expertise included capital expenditure and working capital financing for manufacturing companies, financing of real estate development and infrastructure financing for state-owned enterprises.
Li Lian re-joined HSBC Commercial Banking in September 2010 to lead the International Corporates team, working with HSBC offices globally. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, majoring in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Marketing.
