Nam Cheong bags contracts worth $80.3m

For two repeat customers.

Mainboard-listed Nam Cheong today revealed that it has clinched sale contracts or two vessels with a total value worth approximately $80.3m (US$58 million).

Nam Cheong secured a sales order for a 200-men Accommodation Work Vessel from Marco Polo Marine Ltd, while one 12,000 bhp Anchor Handling Towing Supply Vessel was sold to Topaz Energy and Marine Limited, a repeat customer based in Dubai. 

The contracts are expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group for the financial year ending 31 December 2015 and 31 December 2016.
