Pteris Global bags contracts worth $43.7m

For 75 units of aircraft loading bridges.

Integrated airport support equipment provider Pteris Global has received a letter of acceptance from the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) for the supply and replacement of 75 units of aircraft loading bridges at Terminal 1 of Hong Kong International Airport.

The AAHK Contract is valued at HKD238.5 million ($43.7m). It is scheduled to commence in February 2016 and is expected to be completed by 2018.

The contract was bagged by Pteris’ subsidiary CIMC-Tianda and follows a similar deal in 2014 for the supply and installation of 20 new airport passenger boarding bridges and the overhaul and refurbishment of 57 units of existing ALBs, valued at more than USD20 million in total.
