SIA streamlines delivery of apps to employees through Workspace ONE

The airline has deployed 35 apps so far using the platform.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has selected Workspace ONE platform developed by VMware to streamline the delivery of apps to over 14,000 employee-owned devices as well as more than 6,000 company-issued devices, according to a press release.

The platform was designed to facilitate access to software-as-a-service productivity applications as well as SIA’s mobile and intranet web applications on BYOD mobile devices.

Workspace ONE’s compliance engine also makes sure that the apps meet compliance and compatibility requirements, and updates application with the latest security patches across every device.

So far, SIA has deployed 35 mobile apps developed by its technology development and innovation team using Workspace ONE’s App Catalog.
