China Mobile International Singapore earns honour for IoT initiative at SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2023

Smart Track&Trace of Personnel solution was recognised for revolutionising the way organisations track and monitor their personnel.

China Mobile International (Singapore) Pte Ltd. has won at the SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2023, thanks to its innovative Smart Track&Trace of Personnel solution.

Smart Track&Trace of Personnel is designed to provide organisations with a versatile technology solution that can track and monitor the location, health, and well-being of their personnel in real time.

With its highly customisable and easy-to-use interface, Smart Track&Trace of Personnel aims to revolutionise how organizations track and monitor their personnel. It can be tailored to meet the specific needs of any organisation as well.

The solution uses smart devices like phones, watches, and other IoT devices to gather, visualise, and analyse large amounts of data from different types of devices. Additionally, it is hardware agnostic so it can provide valuable insights into personnel activities and locations with a network operation command centre.

Smart Track&Trace of Personnel is a significant innovation that supports the company's digital transformation plan to improve work process efficiency. With fewer hours spent on manual reporting, an agile deployment framework that supports fast deployment and up to 2000 sensors can be deployed within 48 hours.

Since there is less active monitoring and reporting, workforce productivity has improved by at least half due to less active monitoring and reporting. It has also been supported with passive monitoring such as automated report generation and event-based alert notification.

The automated workforce activities of monitoring, reporting, and alerting likewise contributed to much-advanced business analysis to produce an accurate business forecast.

Through this solution, organisations can now get real-time tracking and monitoring capabilities to optimise their operations, improve productivity, and ensure the safety of their personnel.

It is for these innovations that China Mobile International won the IoT - Automotive & Transport Equipment category at the SBR Technology Excellence Awards.

The prestigious awards programme lauds companies that ride the digital disruption wave with technological innovations that have successfully transformed industries and business models, from merely adapting to changing needs to going beyond expectations.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
