Smarten Spaces bags COVID Management of Year for IT Services at SBR Management Excellence Awards

Companies can seamlessly shift to the new hybrid workplace and balance between remote work and the future workplace.

In a time where the COVID pandemic has forced businesses and its employees to veer from traditional working practices, opportunities have risen for companies to transform their workspaces and hours in order to continue operations whilst ensuring the safety of their workers and customers.

Earlier this year, Smarten Spaces, a global workplace technology brand creating future-ready spaces, announced the availability of Jumpree 3.0 – a fully integrated end-to-end software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that helps companies get back to work and employees comfortable with the new workplace. Smarten Spaces can better meet the needs of users in the post-pandemic world, combining the latest innovative technology with a deep understanding of the cultural forces that shape workplace interactions and engagement.

The solution allows businesses to create a future-ready digital workplace, to ensure an effective return to the office and the new hybrid workplace. Through a fusion of technology, workplace and workforce, businesses can ensure workplace compliance, business continuity through workforce rostering, allocation, space management, desk management. Employees can book desks with social distancing implemented, leverage on contactless processes, complete health declarations, input temperatures, and book collaborative spaces using maps, beacons and QR codes – all through a single Digital Workplace app. It also automates safe management processes and space optimisation with AI-based recommendations for seating and occupancy monitoring and sanitisation status at the back end.

  • Jumpree 3.0 offers a comprehensive solution for return-to-work and the future workplace, including:
  • Digital Workplace app: AI-based social distancing, pre-screening, contactless access, service requests, contactless visitor management, contact tracing
  • Desk Management: Desk booking, AI-based allocation, real-time occupancy and utilisation, space optimisation
  • Workforce Rostering: Balancing between work from home and back to work, creation of teams and rostering, AI-based optimal seat allocation
  • Demand and Supply: AI-based recommendations on demand and supply in a flexible workspace request more/less space, lease management, service requests
  • Expenses & Charge Back: Dynamic allocation and tracking of cost based on utilisation for the new dynamic workplace
  • Asset Management: inventory, integrated with expenses, procurement and relocation

With this, Smarten Spaces secured the COVID Management of the Year for IT Services award at the recently concluded SBR Management Excellence Awards, for its work in helping businesses return to work with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

Now in its 6th year, the awards event lauds individuals, innovators and teams whose initiatives have brought tangible business gains for the success of their companies.

“Winning the award is a hard- and well-earned recognition of the talented and dedicated team that we have,” Anushka Verghese, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Smarten Spaces, said. “The pandemic has impacted businesses globally. As the office continues to shift from fixed to flexible workspaces, a robust, integrated technology solution will enable companies to better manage the workforce and workplace. We look forward to helping companies optimise for the hybrid workspace and shape their future of work.”

To minimise operational disruptions, the Jumpree 3.0 platform also provides real-time analytics reports on seat and smart meeting room bookings, enabling companies to save up to 30% of their office space costs. The innovation’s algorithm allows changes in social distancing measures and building capacity, and therefore scalable seat planning that works best for a firm, as it takes into account the distance of a seat with all its surrounding seats in defined radius.

Smarten Spaces’ technology is also integrated with government-run National Digital Check-In processes such as Singapore’s SafeEntry, to ensure seamless employee experience.

“There is no doubt that the pandemic has made workers more isolated. As companies rethink the workplace with an emphasis on safety, flexibility, and reduced cost, it is imperative to enhance the employee experience greatly” Dinesh Malkani, CEO and Founder of Smarten Spaces, said. “We’ve combined the entire back to work, contactless desk management and space management process into an easy to deploy solution allowing customers to get the full ROI in the shortest time possible.”

Smarten Space’s Jumpree Worksafe innovation is now actively deployed in over 50 buildings in 16 cities across the world.

Founded in Singapore in 2017, Smarten Spaces is now trusted by Fortune 500 companies in over 120 locations including New York, Chicago, London and Sydney. The company has also been recently enrolled under the SG:D Spark programme by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) that addresses key challenges and supports the growth of promising Singapore-based ICM startups.
