Lendlease taps Google Cloud for modernisation

The move's main objective is to optimise its digital process.

Lendlease announced a partnership with Google Cloud to modernising the company’s operations.

The agreement is centred around three key areas, namely, the advancement of Lendlease’s IT strategy; integration of artificial intelligence, machine learning and smart data features into Lendlease’s Podium building software platform; and collaboration joint go-to-market initiatives for sustainable projects.

Bill Ruh, CEO of Lendlease Digital, sees the move to Google Cloud as a way of optimising the company’s digital processes.

"Remaking buildings is both the greatest need and the greatest opportunity in addressing our future. By using Podium to digitise supply chains, firms can plan construction projects with accurate parts, pricing, and supply. This means fewer delays to projects, more precise build plans, and a reduction in cost estimate errors. This will also put important information about the lifecycle of building projects into the hands of employees at their work locations, including construction sites and within owned property assets.”

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
