UHREIT reveals lower DPU YoY in H1

The retention of a property led to a lower DPU in the first half (H1) of 2023.

The United Hampshire US Reit (UHREIT) posted a distribution per unit of US 2.65 cents in H1 2023, 8.9% lower than the US 2.91 cents in H1 2023.

This DPU could be retained to US 2.91 cents, excluding the retention, UHREIT also noted.

Its gross revenue, fortunately, grew 13.3% in H1 2023 to $48m (US$ 36m) whilst its net property income also increased by 14% to $34.9m (US$ 25.8m) in H1 2023.

The rise in earnings was on the back of newly entered leases and rental escalation from existing leases and contributions from Upland Square Shopping Center which was acquired in July 2022.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
