Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust names Marc Teo Choon Chye as Director

Mr Teo appointment and Mr Chan and Ms Tomlin's retirement is part of the regular board renewal process which is a policy of Ascendas Funds Management (S) Limited, as manager of Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust.

Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust announced the appointment of Marc Teo Choon Chye as Independent Director.

Mr Teo is appointed as an independent director of Ascendas Funds Management (S) Limited ("AFM"), being manager of A-REIT. He is also appointed as a member of the Audit Committee.

At present he is SVP, Head of Treasury, The Norinchukin Bank since May 1998, accoridng to an Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust report.

Meanwhile the company announced the retirement of Joseph Chen Seow Chan and Monica Villegas Tomlin, both 62 years of age.
