James Walton
James is the Transportation, Hospitality and Services Sector Leader for Deloitte Singapore and Southeast Asia, which includes the leisure, hospitality, gaming, travel and tourism sectors; and Deloitte’s Sport Business Group Leader for Southeast Asia.
James is also the Clients & Markets Leader for Deloitte Singapore and Southeast Asia, a role in which he oversees all of Deloitte’s marketing, business development, brand and communications activities across the ASEAN region, as well as CSR programs. He has been with Deloitte for over 20 years since starting his career in the Tax Department of Deloitte UK in 1999. In that time he has worked in over 55 countries with the network, and has been based in Singapore since 2010.
James has a BA Hons Degree in Economic & Political Development from the University of Exeter (UK) and an MBA from the Jeffrey M. Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Outside of work, James is an avid soccer player and veteran of 23 London marathons and many ultramarathons.
