In 1Q24, the group's premium segment reported a 51.5% YoY increase in sales.

BMW Group Asia saw robust growth in new car sales in Singapore in 1Q24.

Its premium segment, BMW, saw a 51.5% YoY increase, whilst its EV segment, BMW BEV, and its MINI segment experienced YoY increases of 151.5% and 6.1%, respectively.

Across broader Asia, BMW Group Asia reported YoY increases of 14.3% for BMW, 53.5% for BMW BEV, and 6.5% for MINI.

With strong market performance and expanded customer reach in Singapore, BMW Group is working to enhance its brand presence by opening new showrooms and service centres this year.

In February, BMW Group opened Eurokars Auto Service Centre at 27A Tanjong Penjuru. It is also planning to open Eurokars Auto BMW Showroom at 29 Leng Kee Road, Performance Motors BMW Showroom at 303 Alexandra Road, and Eurokars Habitat MINI Showroom at 27 Leng Kee Road this year.

To drive social impact, BMW Group Asia collaborated with partner organisations to promote social responsibility through various outreach programmes.

The programs include school visits and EV showcases with EduTorque, volunteering with Meals-on-Wheels, teaching children about sustainability with the Life Community Services Society (LCSS), and internships with the German European School Singapore (GESS).

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
