VICOM names Chung Tying Chun as CEO from January 2027

He succeeds Sim Wing Yew, who retires after 14 years of service.

VICOM Ltd has appointed Deputy CEO Chung Tying Chun as CEO, effective 1 January 2027.

Chung will succeed Sim Wing Yew, who will retire on 31 December after 14 years of service.

Sim will also step down as Director and as a member of the Sustainability Committee and Technology Committee. Chung will assume these appointments upon his succession.

In conjunction with the transition, Chung will relinquish his role as CEO of Setsco Services Pte Ltd on 1 July.

Chung, who was appointed Deputy CEO on 1 May, joined the group in 2013 and has held key roles across vehicle inspection and non-vehicle testing businesses.

He holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (Honours) from University College London.
