Golden Mile Tower strata cinema enters market at $31m

It has a strata area of 104,991 sq. ft.

A rare strata- titled cinema space located at 6001 Beach Road is up for sale via an Expression of Interest exercise for $31m, according to CBRE.

Located within Golden Mile Tower, the asset has a strata area of 104,991 square feet, comprising four auditoriums with a total seating capacity of up to 2,000 as well as office spaces.

"This cinema asset, situated on the city fringe, currently comprises four auditoriums along with office space and offers a high degree of versatility. Subject to the relevant authorities’ approval, there is potential to reconfigure the premises into a single large auditorium with a seating capacity of close to 2,000, or to partially convert the space into alternative uses such as an event venue, media production studio, or gym," said Joshua Giam, director of capital markets, Singapore at CBRE.

CBRE expects strong interest from both end-users and investors seeking a distinctive foothold, which offers creative repositioning, rental uplift and long-term capital appreciation.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
