William Forwood
As the founder and Group CEO of Merx, William Forwood has responsibility for running Merx's global project management office operations. William established Merx in Singapore in 2001 and has led its successful and steady growth throughout Asia into Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Macau and Myanmar. With over 25 years’ experience within the fields of property, client consulting, project management, procurement and construction management, William runs Merx and manages projects at the most senior level by engaging with heads of companies.
William Gilchrist
William Gilchrist, CEO and Founder of Konsyg, began his career within the corporate sector of Shanghai as a Media Relations Manager for Wai White Dragon, a publication for Shanghai's elite.
William then returned to the United States to work in school administration as Director of Admissions and College Planning at Hales Franciscan High School in Chicago Illinois. He was hired to rebuild the admissions department by devising a plan to increase enrollment numbers amongst a unique demographic within the Chicago-land area.
After his time at Hales Franciscan, William decided to re-align his initial aspirations of Asia by working in Business Development in Singapore for TSL Marketing, a lead generation marketing firm. At TSL, WIlliam ran multiple lead generation campaigns in both English and Mandarin for top- tier tech firms throughout J-APAC.
He then moved to a position as Regional New Business Sales Manager for Google, Asia-Pacific. William has also founded and facilitated internal sales training courses for multiple departments. William transitioned to the APAC Knowledge Manager role where he focused on training and quality systems management for regional and global projects.
William then ventured outside of Google to build and direct the Outbound Sales Team for TradeGecko, a Singapore-based startup. At TradeGecko, William built and managed a team of highly skilled sales representatives in both Singapore and Philippines covering a global clientele.

Wilson Ang & Kayla Feld
Wilson Ang is a dispute resolution lawyer based in Singapore. He heads up Norton Rose Fulbright's Singapore regulatory compliance and investigations practice. Kayla Feld is an associate in the dispute resolution team. Her practice includes advising corporations on business ethics and anti-corruption compliance programs and risk mitigation efforts, economic sanctions, money-laundering/terrorist-financing issues, and other financial services regulatory violations.

Wong Meng Yew, Cecil Leong and Tony Kerr
Meng Yew is Deloitte Southeast Asia and Singapore Global Trade Advisory Leader. He regularly advises clients in navigating their investments into Southeast Asia from a market access perspective involving movement of goods, services, and investments. Such advice includes cross border supply chain strategies from a legal, regulatory, tax and trade perspective.
Cecil is a Partner in the Indirect Tax service line at Deloitte Singapore where he works closely with the regional and global Global Trade Advisory (GTA) network and other business units to build new service offerings and capabilities. He leads Deloitte's Digital Trade capabilities and is active on Digital Supply Chain and Trade Compliance matters in Asia Pacific and beyond.
Tony is a Director with Deloitte’s Global Trade Advisory team in Singapore and has been at the forefront of customs related matters in the Asia Pacific region for more than 40 years. Tony’s niche area of expertise is in Customs and international trade. These include helping clients to successfully implement changes that lead to greater indirect tax savings, cost savings through more efficient and effective supply chains, use of free trade agreements, free trade zones and other customs controlled areas, accurate HS classification, and efficient customs valuation of imports.
Wong Meng Yew, Michael Nixon, and Alexander Goh
Wong Meng Yew is a Partner in the Deloitte Singapore office and is the leader of the Global Trade Advisory practice in Southeast Asia (SEA). He regularly advises clients in navigating investments into SEA from a market access perspective involving movement of goods, services, and investments. Such advice includes cross-border supply chain strategies from a legal, regulatory, tax, and trade perspective.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Wong practiced law for more than a decade serving as a partner at an international law firm advising clients on international trade, customs matters, export controls, and sanctions compliance. This includes representing clients in disputes with both tax/customs authorities.
As a qualified customs broker, he regularly advises on tariff classification and valuation issues, rules of origin under various Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)-based free trade agreements as well as import and export regulations.

Michael Nixon is a seasoned transfer pricing economics and tax law practitioner with over 20 years of experience in delivering successful advisory outcomes for clients, and over 10 years’ experience in the Asia Pacific region.
Nixon advises clients on value chain alignment projects that deal with international tax, transfer pricing and valuations issues, as well as tax policy, transfer pricing risk management and audit defense matters.
Previously, Nixon worked as a senior advisor at the OECD within the Tax Treaty and Transfer Pricing Unit. He led aspects of the work on the tax aspects of the digital economy, including Amount A, Amount B and Pillar Two, as well as some other OECD transfer pricing projects such as the COVID-19 guidance.

Alexander Goh is a Senior Manager with Deloitte’s Global Trade Advisory team in Singapore. He has more than a decade of experience in customs matters, facilitating trade and resolving trade compliance issues. Goh advises clients on adding value to their processes and supply chains, as well as implementable strategies to resolve their trade issues regarding the movement of goods.
His areas of focus include utilising Free Trade Agreements (FTA), developing import/export controls, as well as effective internal compliance programmes, application of customs’ schemes and licences and carrying out activities within Free Trade Zones. In addition, he is a certified declarant by Singapore Customs.
